organization, Dave has compiled a vast record of service.

Since August of 2003, Dave has been sending concept and
vision letters to the leadership in many Districts. These
letters present concepts meant to propose meaningful programs
and inspire other ideas to forward our organization.

Kiwanis Information:
Club Level:
Dave is a member of two Kiwanis Clubs, the Silver Bow, Butte
club since 1989, and the Tombstone, Virginia City Club since
2000. The Tombstone Club is the first sanctioned Internet
club, created at the Kiwanis International Convention in Miami
during June, 2000.
Dave was a distinguished Club President of the Silver Bow
Club, and led the club to:
- Doubling their contributions in the community
- Tripling their IDD contributions that year
- Establishing a new bicycle safety program still in existence
- Growth from 58 to 72 members
Within the Tombstone Club, Dave has served as both Secretary
and Treasurer, and last year successfully led the club effort
to raise $20,000 to fund the expansion of an orphanage in
Vietnam in support of the efforts of Children of Peace International.
Division and District Level:
As the 1997-1998 Lieutenant Governor of Division 3, Dave
was again distinguished, leading the Division to:
- Doubling their IDD contribution as a division
- Experiencing growth as a division
- With five others, creating the District Strategic Plan
- Serving as the Chairperson for the 1997 District Convention
in Butte
As a Distinguished Governor, Dave led the district to:
- Tripling their IDD contributions
- Doubling their District Convention attendance
- Obtaining a 50% increase in Club Officer Training attendance
- Having every club in the district make a contribution
to IDD
- Having district growth
International Level:
Dave was a Distinguished member of the International Membership
Growth and Retention Committee, and served as an International
Trustee from 2001-2003, where he:
- Counseled the Capital, Indiana, Korea, Minnesota-Dakotas,
New York, and Norden Districts
- Served as the Board Representative to the Priority One
Advisory Council in Washington, D.C. for two years
- Advised the Communications and Conventions Board Committee
for the Kiwanis International Board
